Playstation Network Welcome Back Program

Playstation Network oh how has it has been down for so long. Atleast the sign in features returned to us but the Playstation store is still absent. Sony now states that the Playstation store will be back up this friday on the 3rd of June. I hope this is accurate unlike the other dates Sony provided before *ahem 31st may store is not back Sony*.

Sony does seem sorry for this inconvenience and so is initiating a welcome back program which will give free games and services to people, heres the details of the program for the EU:

1. Two PlayStation 3 games from the following list:
LittleBigPlanet
InFamous*
WipEout HD/Fury
Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty
Dead Nation*

2. For those with PSP accounts, you will also be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list:
LittleBigPlanet PSP
ModNation Racers PSP
Pursuit Force
Killzone Liberation

3. 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PS Plus subscribers*

4. Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will be given 60 days free subscription.

5. Existing Q Music Unlimited subscribers will be given 30 days free subscription.

6. In addition, we are working on a Welcome Back offer in PlayStation Home and will share that when it is confirmed.

Sony bowing to us to show how sorry they are :

These are some kicka** games and I'm honestly surprised that Sony is giving them away.We should all be glad that were not getting some mini's and PS1 games instead of these. All in all, Sony is actually doing well with this welcome back program and are providing some awesome games. So hopefully 3rd June is the correct date for the return of the playstation store so we can all get our free games and can start forgetting this annoying inconvenience that struck us over the past month or so.
